Fikayo Balogun

Fikayo Balogun is a writer and spoken-word artist based in London. She has a Masters degree in Creative and Professional Writing from Roehampton University. She has performed in and won many spoken word slams across Europe. Her works have also appeared in several magazines and anthologies. She has been a member of Malika’s Poetry Kitchen for years writing alongside renowned writers. Fikayo grew up in Nigeria and moved to London alone as an adult, this can sometimes reflect in the use of language in her work. She is currently working on her first collection.
