Anne Enith Cooper

Anne Enith Cooper is the author of Touched and the anti-war poem essay 21st Century Guernica described by the late Tony Benn MP as, “Powerful and deeply moving.” She has been published by Leaf Books, the Loose Muse Anthologies and Proletarian Poetry, and performed at Bowery Poetry in NYC and widely in London including on picket lines and at a swimming pool. Life, art and activism merged with her position of writer-in-residence on a council estate facing demolition, culminating in the book 306: Living Under the Shadow of Regeneration. Anne is the founder of The Way of Words. She ardently believes another world is possible.
